'Cuttputlli' is the Hindi remake of 'Ratsasan' (the Tamil-language thriller, which was remade in Telugu as 'Rakshasudu'). Fronted by Akshay Kumar, the content-driven film is heading for a direct-to-service release.
Disney Plus Hotstar today announced that the thriller will start streaming from September 2.
Sharing the film's trailer, the 'Raksha Bandhan' actor tweeted, “Yeh khel power ka nahi, mind ka hai. Aur is mind game mein aap aur main…sab #Cuttputlli hain."
Written by Aseem Arrora, the film has cinematography handled by Rajeev Ravi.
Akshay, who scored a disaster with 'Raksha Bandhan' this year, is currently doing 'Ram Setu', 'OMG 2' and the Bollywood remake of 'Soorarai Pottru', among others.
