'Sexiest Poster Ever' hashtag came to trend massively on Twitter in no time. Superstar actresses such as Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Anushka Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia have endorsed the poster.
What is the rationale behind the semi-nude pose? The makers have given a reason. The 'Arjun Reddy' actor plays a Mixed Martial Artist in the movie. "MMA sportspersons need to go nude before every fight, as the sports authorities are very specific about their body composition and weights. That's why Liger goes nude," the makers said.
'Liger' is directed by Puri Jagannadh and will hit the cinemas on August 25 this year in multiple languages.
