Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual 'SIR' is directed by Venky Atluri. The first song from the semi-period movie is out.
'Mastaaru Mastaaru' is its name. Samyuktha Menon's character is visibly star-struck in the presence of Dhanush's character. She loves his virtues and Shweta Mohan's melodious voice accentuates her lilting feelings so well.
Composed by GV Prakash Kumar, it is written by Ramajogayya Sastry. He has been quoted as saying that the folk angle has been downplayed deliberately. The music director lets the singer weave magic, while the rural backdrop of the song also adds to the experience. Choreographer Sekhar has also added value.
The cinematography is by Dinesh Krishnan. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Narra Srinivas and others are part of the cast.
