The 2014 horror-comedy movie 'Geethanjali' starred Anjali in the lead. Its sequel, titled 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi', has completed 80% of its shoot. Directed by Siva Thurlapati and presented by Kona Venkat on Kona Film Corporation, the horror comedy will grace the theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada in early 2024.
Starring Srinivas Reddy and Satyam Rajesh (recently seen in 'Ma Oori Polimera 2') in key roles, the sequel also features Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Brahmaji, Ravi Shankar and Malayalam actor Rahul Madhav.
With music composed by Praveen Lakkaraju, the film has its story written by Kona Venkat. The screenplay is by Kona Venkat and Bhanu Bhogavarapu. Sujatha Siddhartha and Chota K Prasad are handling the cinematography and editing departments, respectively.
Shot mainly in Hyderabad and Ooty, its upcoming schedule will take place in the latter.
