Foreigners go gaga over Pushpa action scene

"Better than some of the modern US movies," wrote a foreigner, commenting on an action moment from Pushpa 2: The Rule. On X, a small stretch from the climax fight of the movie, has gone viral. So far, more than 3.5 million views have been garnered by the clip shared originally by an American. Most foreigners are mighty impressed with the action choreography, staging and visuals.

"Indians should make Anime movies now. They make such awesome scenes," a Netizen from the West commented. "If anyone can make an action movie as good as the first Transformers, it will be these Indians," wrote Steve.

Indians are actually surprised that the Pushpa action scene is impressing non-Indians following the Netflix release of the Allu Arjun-Sukumar movie. "I find it funny that the foreigners in the quotes are like 'We should do action scenes like these instead of generic action', while this is a very generic action scene for an Indian film," wrote an Indian. Another Indian netizen opined that being local is the best way to go. "Though it's not the best action choreography, it looks like the foreigners are intrigued by the sheer style of it. Sticking to your originality sells in the global market. That's what makes it unique to others. Not making brown versions of the movies they always watch," Bendu Apparao added.
