Box office battles are commonplace in Telugu. We have seen how 'Guntur Kaaram' and 'HanuMan' saw ego battles play out this year during Sankranthi, with the latter allegedly receiving a step-motherly treatment in terms of screen allocation. Something similar is playing out in Bollywood over two upcoming Diwali releases.
With just eight days to go before the release of 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', the drama surrounding their clash has begun to heat up. Reports suggest that both films are engaged in a "battle for prime-time show timings and screen space in theaters", as per journalist Himesh Mankad.
The reporter's sources indicate that there have been instances of "arm-twisting" and "blackmailing" from both sides to secure more shows for their respective films. Additionally, there are concerns about the possibility of "screen-splitting".
As the release date draws closer, it remains to be seen whether the drama will escalate or whether the films will be able to coexist peacefully at the box office.
'Singham Again' is an action entertainer starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is fronted by Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri.
