The pre-release event of 'Lucky Baskhar' was held on Sunday evening in Hyderabad. Vijay Deverakonda graced the occasion as the chief guest. The film hits the cinemas on October 31.

Speaking on the occasion, Dulquer Salmaan said that the film's genre is not familiar. "It takes a lots of guts to make a film of this sort. Director Venky Atluri came across as a college student when I met him. There is so much life and maturity in each scene in 'LB'. The cast is beautiful. We shot the film over one year. Meenakshi Chaudhary has brought in an honest performance. I have dubbed in three languages. Ramki sir has a role in the movie. It was a pleasure working with him. I am a big fan of Trivikram sir's. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' is one of my favourites. My family members enjoy the film a lot," DQ said.

Meenakshi said, "Hyderabad has become my second home. The entire cast and crew of 'LB' are a passionate bunch. I am grateful for the character Sumathi. This is my most favourite character. Dulquer is a fantastic actor and an amazing co-actor and human being."

Trivikram said, "While watching the movie, I rooted for Baskhar. I wanted the protagonist to get lucky. I appreciate director Venky for the way he designed the characters and their backstories. Each and every character creates a certain impact, an emotion. DQ has delivered an effortless performance. He walked into the bank and carried us along into it. Hats off to him! He has carved a path different from his father Mammootty's. While watching 'LB', you won't remember the Dulquer of 'Sita Ramam' and 'Mahanati'. I became a fan of Ramki after watching this movie. When a middle-class man embarks on an adventure, we want him to succeed come what may. That's the wish you go through while watching this movie."

Vijay Deverakonda said, "The trailer of 'LB' is of top quality. We at home were surprised watching it. In terms of lensing, framing, the film looks absolutely mature. Meenakshi seems to have played a meaty role. I like Dulquer's Malayalam movies. I was supposed to do a multi-starrer with him. I wish him all the best. This October 31, this film should become a huge hit."
